Couldn't get to work due to the latest Pacific Northwest storm of the century. I'm watching KIRO7 Storm Watch coverage. They've got one of their roving reporters out at Queen Anne, which is a steep hill of a street to the north of downtown Seattle. Folks are sledding, skiing, and snowboarding down the street!
I've got great snow tires on my Liberty, but it's not 4-wheel drive. I'm not real confident behind the wheel in these kind of conditions. Fortunately, we don't get the kind of snow that sticks for months during the winter. There's a warmer storm behind this one which will bring rain and melt away the lovely winter wonderland we've got today.
So we're staying safe and snuggly warm in the condo today.
