Brooke Holds Out Hope Dad Will Show On ‘One Tree Hill’ Posted: 12 Jan 2012 12:10 AM PST Ever the optimist, Brooke never gave up hope that her father would come through and show up for the baptism of her babies. “One Tree Hill” (Wed., 8 p.m. EST on The CW) returned for its 13-episode swan song with an opening that teased a crazy ride for the cast in this final season. But all that is in episodes to come. For now, Brooke and Julian were juggling their professional lives with trying to juggle two little bundles of joy. And while the ever-elusive Ted wasn’t present when they made it to the church for the baptism, Brooke pleaded with the priest to wait a few more moments. She needn’t have bothered, though, as her father Ted showed up with a wink and a joke as if it wasn’t a big deal he actually showed up to something. “It’s like seeing a Bigfoot,” Haley whispered to Victoria, who couldn’t resist getting in a few zings at her ex-husband’s expense. In fact, the two of them were so catty right away, there was clearly some unresolved issues there. Issues that might have to be resolved before the season and series runs its course, perhaps. The final season of “One Tree Hill” continues Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on The CW. Sahara’s Huge Surprise For Her Mother On ‘Mobbed’ Posted: 12 Jan 2012 12:10 AM PST Sahara had quite a shock in store for her mother, but after six years she’d decided it was past time to lay it on her. So she called in the “Mobbed” (Wed., 8 p.m. EST On Fox) to help her break the news in as wild and crazy a fashion as possible. After a whirlwind tour through dancers and extravaganza, Marlena found herself face to face with her estranged daughter. “I’m no longer married. I’m divorced,” Sahara told her mother. But that wasn’t the bombshell. “There’s a man in my life,” she continued. “He’s been in my life for the past six years. But you haven’t met him yet, and I want you to meet him.” At this an enormous package was opened to reveal Sahara’s adorable son all decked out in a nice tuxedo. “Hi, my name is Donovan. I’m your grandson. Nice to meet you,” he told the shocked and smiling Marlena. Sahara had never told her family she had a child. Sahara wanted them to be a family united again, and Marlena looked more than happy to do just that. “Of course,” she said, with her hands on her grandson’s shoulders. It was a touching family reunion only made slightly unusual by the cameras and mob of people looking on. “Mobbed” continues in three weeks on Wednesday, February 1 at 8 p.m. EST on Fox. Ashton Kutcher Talks ‘Men,’ Wears Wedding Ring Posted: 12 Jan 2012 12:10 AM PST At the Television Critics Association’s CBS press tour Wednesday, “Two and a Half Men” star Ashton Kutcher was seen wearing his wedding ring while he talked about the future of the show with creator Chuck Lorre. Kutcher replaced Charlie Sheen last year, and “Men” re-launched to a massive 28 million viewers in September. Lorre said he felt the ratings and great material warranted an additional season, but he wasn’t sure if it would happen. Kutcher signed a one-year deal and co-star Angus T. Jones will be heading to college, said Lorre. “Is there a 10th season, or really should we call it Year 2? I don’t know. I hope so,” Lorre told reporters. “CBS has not said anything to us about the future, and again, it’s another issue about Ashton and Angus.” Kutcher added, “For me, having a show that people like and people want more of, that will dictate my decision.” He revealed plans for filming several movie projects over the summer. “Right now I’m looking at it as a hiatus, because I’m having a lot of fun. … I’m interested in coming back if we can work that out.” Ashton and estranged wife Demi Moore called it quits at the end of last year.
