Cue that theme music...

It's encores and results live from Hollywood!

We have brownies!  They are chocolate with chocolate chips.  Brownies are almost as good as CAKE!

What did we like from Monday night?  Well I'll tell you!

We liked the Quick Step from Audrina and Tony.  Click here if the video doesn't play.

We liked the Jive from Margaret and Louis.  It wasn't the best dance of the night, but we appreciated that they danced a proper Jive.  Click here if the video doesn't play.

We liked the Jive from Rick and Cheryl too.  Click here if the video doesn't play.

We liked the Quick Step from Kyle and Lacey.  It was sloppy in places, but we really enjoyed his performance and charisma.  Click here if the video doesn't play.

I have a feeling we're going to be saying this a lot.  Dance of the night goes to the Jive from Jennifer and Derek.  Click here if the video doesn't play.

Here's a reminder of our leader board after Monday's performances:

24 Jennifer and Derek
23 Audrina and Tony
22 Kyle and Lacey
22 Bristol and Mark
21 Rick and Cheryl
21 Kurt and Anna
21 Brandy and Maks
19 Florence and Corky
18 Margaret and Louis
18 Mike and Karina
12 Michael and Chelsie

We start right off with results...Kyle and Lacey are safe.

And the judges select Kyle and Lacey for the encore performance.  If he can polish up his technique and bring the energy under control, he's going to be a force.

Janelle Monae is in the ballroom.  She rocked it on the So You Think You Can Dance stage too.  Click here to see that performance.  I like her!  She's got her own dancers, and she's pretty dang good too.  She's got a bit of James Brown and a little Michael Jackson.  Excellent!

More results...Florence and Corky are safe.  Bristol and Mark are safe.  Audrina and Tony are safe.  Jennifer and Derek are safe.

The Macy's Design-a-Dance will be a Cha Cha Cha.  You can go to the DWTS website to vote for the song, two pro dancers, and a concept.  Then we'll get to see the result on the finale.  Sort of like this...

The Macy's Stars of Dance returns, featuring the choreography of Rich-N-Tone.  The dance had acrobatics and high flying stunts combined with dancing to Every Little Thing She Does is Magic.  I actually did not enjoy it.

Now Seal is in the ballroom accompanied by Cheryl, Chelsie, Kym, and Lacey.

And results...Kurt and Anna are safe.  Margaret and Louis are safe.  Rick and Cheryl are safe.  Brandy and Maks are safe.  Mike and Karina are safe.

That means Michael Bolton is out.

I thought Bruno was out of line with his comments on Monday.  One can deliver an honest critique of the performances without being mean.  Michael isn't a good dancer and his Jive just wasn't very good.  But Bruno was just flat out mean on Monday.  His comments were in appropriate and unnecessarily harsh.

How about one more video?  Way back in Season 2, host Tom Bergeron joined Ashly del Groso for a delightful Quick Step.

Later gang!
