Happy Birthday, Crystal Bowersox!

Season 9′s top girl, Crystal Bowersox, turns 26 today. The singer-songwriter-musician has had a very busy year since coming in second on American Idol.

Last year, Crystal went on tour with the Season 9 Top 10, she married Brian Walker, and released an album! Crystal’s debut album, Farmer’s Daughter, included 12 stellar tracks, including eight songs written by Crystal and two co-writes.

Last month, Crystal took part in the CMA Fest Activities, where she joined the parade, walked the red carpet at the CMT Awards, performed at the Grand Ole Opry, and signed autographs. A week later, she went to Washington DC for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Children’s Congress.

Tomorrow, the Ohio native will take part in the Smoking Country Concert in Bloomville, OH. From August to October, Crystal will be performing at a variety of state fairs and arenas.

American Idol Winner and Mercury Nashville/19 Recordings/Interscope artist Scotty McCreery‘s video for his debut hit, “I Love You This Big,” will premiere on Aug. 9.

CMT will air Scotty’s new video as part of an extended 15-minute special that includes exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from his video shoot.CMT Premieres: Scotty McCreery I Love You This Big will debut on Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 10:30 a.m. ET/PT on CMT and CMT Pure.

GAC will air the video on Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 6:24 a.m. ET, 8:30 a.m. ET, 10:30 a.m. ET, 2:30 p.m. ET, 8:30 p.m. ET, and 11:54 p.m. ET. GAC cameras have been following Scotty since June in preparation for a new GAC special, Introducing: Scotty McCreery, which is set to premiere this fall.

Pia Performs on SYTYCD Tonight

Season 10 finalist Pia Toscano will perform her first single, “This Time,” on So You Think You Can Dance tonight. The show is at 8/7c on FOX.

Tonight’s live results show of SYTYCD is a big one, as the four finalists that will compete in next week’s finale will be revealed right after Pia performs.

Last month, Pia announced that she signed a record deal with Interscope Records and 19 Recordings. Pia has been performing “This Time” on the American Idols LIVE! Tour all summer long. To see where the tour is headed next, click here.
