We've got our fru fru finery. We've had our traditional cheese and crackers, nice merlot, and CAKE. We are ready for results!
But first, let's see what we liked about Wednesday's performance finale.
Melanie and All Star Robert Roldan from Season 7 were amazing with their Contemporary piece choreographed by Stacey Tookey. Melanie is riveting even when she doesn't move. Even with her back to the audience.
It isn't the kind of dancing I normally enjoy, but Sasha demolished this Jazz piece with All Star Mark Kanemura from Season 4. Choreography was by Sonya Tayeh.
Marko and All Star Lauren Froderman from Season 7 made a moment with their Contemporary piece choreographed by Tessandra Lopez.
Dance of the night honors go to a beautiful Contemporary piece choreographed by Stacey Tookey and brilliantly interpreted by Melanie and Sasha.
Excellent.
Welcome back to our Top 20, leading off the show with a high energy group number choreographed by Sonya Tayeh.
Final Cat update: Simply stunning in red with loose wavy hair just the way I like it. Damn that woman is gorgeous.
The table is full as Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy are joined by Lil C, Robin Antin, Tyce Diorio, Sonya Tayeh, and actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
Who will it be...Melanie, Sasha, Marko, or Tadd?
The winner comes later. First, let's have a reprise of some of the favorite dances from Season 8. Click on the names of the dancers to see the routines.

Our runner up...Sasha Mallory.
And that means...America's Favorite Dancer is Melanie Moore!
Well done young Lady!
