It is no secret that one of the most important accessories that one must have during the winter months is a good scarf. I practically own a drawer full of them but of course I have my favourites. Highly prized is my Écharpe Plan de Maison, a souvenir from 101 Avenue des Champs-Élysées. Much to my consternation, it developed a nasty run that I could not ignore. And so, with a fine needle in hand, I painstakingly tried to mend it as best as I could, calling on the sacred Tinalak weavers of my country to help me in this task.
