Louis Vuitton Crocodile Old Speedy Flap

One thing that I wanted to see in NYC that I didn't was the Old Speedy in Croc. Part of the Les Extraordinaires Collection, this extremely limited and numbered piece is priced at around $30,000. I guess that's the reason why it wasn't just sitting on a shelf.

Louis Vuitton LVook-See

Ahhhh...the beauty of having a local Louis Vuitton boutique is that you can see the windows as it changes from season to season. This Spring, the display had a 'Hunger Games' theme to my eyes. A multitude of feathered arrows seem to target the bag within. The illusion is spectacular especially from a distance as the colours seem to pulsate before you.

I didn't have much a LVook-see because my SA was already ending her shift and I didn't want to linger. On the table, they had two Monogram Desire Lockits. The nylon jacquard didn't do much for me but the lining was impressive. It's a collector piece most definitely but not something that you can use everyday. Next to it was the Denim Beach tote which was fabulous due to the combination of the fabric and suede trimmings.

Encased in glass was the Monogram Denim Pochette Round and a Monogram Bouclettes (not shown) which was totally high up on the shelf. I really didn't pay attention to them because I had my eye on the...

....Suship. Crafted out of the most buttery, soft leather, it was too precious to even play around with. The silver locking mechanism was a nice touch and how the bag opens up. The lining is so luxurious. This bag is strictly a NO PENS or PENCILS bag. It was amazing and I did stick my head into it to take a whiff of that new leather smell. Simply LVoe, LVoe, LVoe!!!

Louis Vuitton Avalon

Nothing beats a shiny red bag! So the Avalon, one of the latest in the Vernis Collection, get's my vote as this season's hottest arm candy. The GM ($1530) comes in Rouge Fauviste, Amarante and Rouge Grenadine (as shown). The MM ($1300) comes also in all three colours plus Blanc Corail.

For those who are all about security, a zippered version of the Avalon is available at $1690. Currently, it only comes in Rouge Fauviste and Amarante.

Louis Vuitton Epi Rainbow Wallets

It was already exciting enough that Epi had acquired more colours in the collection. For tricolour combinations to appear in both bags and small leather goods is truly magic come to LVife.

Louis Vuitton Mahina Collection Selene

Removable chocolate coloured handles! I LVoe this feature for the newest of the Mahina Line, the Selene. Soft pleats does not take away the practicality of this city bag. It comes with a cute pochette both in PM and MM size. The colours are Sandy, Black and Lagon (shown here). Priced at $3350 and $3750 according to size. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Monogram Idylle Neverfull

Featured here are the latest from the Monogram Idylle Collection, the classic and ever dependable Neverfull. Crafted out of the same linen blend with calfskin trimmings, it is true to the original Monogram by having a striped interior lining. Only made in the Moyen Modele (MM), I would have to pull a GoldiLVocks since I prefer the GM size. $1030 in the US.

Louis Vuitton SC Bag

OOOOOHHHH!!! Is that a Croc SC Bag that I see?! An understated Louis Vuitton but is fast becoming one of the hottest especially for celebs, the SC bag will be coming out in these new colours for Spring 2012. LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Epi Collection: Eden

Part of the rainbow of colours that comprise the Epi collection, this new shoulder bag, Eden affords one to be carefree not only because of its shoulder strap but due to the fun colours that it comes in. Shown here is the fuchsia but trust me, there's even going to be a tricolor version. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Plein Soleil Summer 2012 Totes

Ooooohhhh...Summer is almost here and what better way to enjoy the outdoors than to be carrying the latest that Louis Vuitton has to offer. Crafted out of the trustee ol' Damier Azur as well as Denim canvas, these totes are just perfect for the beach or a nice stroll on a balmy night. LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Clé de Maison

Attention all you collectible fanatics. Louis Vuitton has released their Clé de Maison collection. Comprising of only 15 charms representing the 15 boutiques around the world that holds this status. A Maison is a stand alone store that contains all of LV's collection i.e. leather goods, shoes, RTW, etc...I believe that you can only purchase the fabulous trinkets from the Maison they belong to. Priced at $350 each, if you mean to collect them all, that would be $5250, plus your plane fare and board and lodging. Once you've collected all 15, framing would be the last cost and you'll then realize how truly expensive they have become. Hmmmm....I wonder if you can order the whole caboodle from France? LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Cirrus in Python

Wow, Vuitton is really rolling out the exotic skins. I've noticed it in the past seasons. I guess it's a way to lure in the super "high-end" consumers. Featured here is the Cirrus in luxurious black python. Priced at $8050, the shape that used to belong to the Mahina has now acquired a reptilian LVook.

Louis Vuitton Speedy Bandouliere (Speedy B) in Damier Ebene

There were so many things that were in the press photos that I didn't even notice the Speedy Bandouliere in Damier Ebene. Much awaited by many, the new Speedy DE B has a slated release date here in the US of early June. Estimated price will be at the current Monogram prices 25cm $1065, 30cm $1090, 35cm $1115. Customer service was not sure if there would be a 40cm. Now, I wonder if LV pushed the release date so that it will be included in the price increase...hmmm.

Louis Vuitton Monogram Etoile Exotique Tote

Already released in the US with only a handful of stores carrying it, the Monogram Etoile Exotique Tote is truly a marvelous piece of arm candy. Measuring 37 x 24 x 19cm, it is crafted with quilted Monogram canvas with snakeskin and ostrich trim. Currently priced at $5400 for the MM and $5850 for the GM, (the GM having a Bordeaux colour), better call your SAs before the price increase. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Sully

An early 2012 addition to the core collection is the Sully. Classic in shape with a lone strap of vache leather, this ample sized Monogram canvas is perfect as a go-to-bag. It comes in PM and MM. A word of caution though, the strap is quite thick so I would suggest going into the store to try it on first.

Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Figheri

Making the rounds this Fall is the super summery Figheri in Damier Azur. Nothing beats a classic, functional tote and this latest addition fits the bill perfectly. What I LVoe about it, is the pattern play at the top that makes a very appealing twist to an otherwise ho-hum shape. GM and PM are in stores now.

Well it's time to view the Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2012 Womens' Collection. I really LVoe this collection with its happy colours and fun shapes. My personal favourite is the Suship.
