TV Series Actresses Who Also a Singer Posted: 01 Sep 2011 12:14 AM PDT Multi-talented actress is a rare thing. There’s only few of them who have career in various line of works in entertainment, which include actress, musician, song-writer, model, producer, author, presenter, or even as an entrepreneur. This time, we’d like to focus on actress that also has a successful career in music industry. You must have been familiar with the names of Jennifer Lopez, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Mandy Moore, Cher, Lisa Minnelli, or Beyonce. They all are can be considered as mega-diva, which also very popular for their acting talents in numerous movies. Unfortunately they rare appeared on television series. If any, they usually only guest starring for few episodes. However, there are also some TV actresses who made quite an impact as singer too. Obviously not (yet) as shining as the above divas, but their acting careers are more well-known. These are some of them: 1. Jennifer Love Hewitt It’s been so long since we heard Jennifer Love Hewitt sing, as her last singles, BareNaked and Can I Go Now, were released in 2002 and 2003. However, we picked her on top of our list not just because of her voice, and fabulous body of course, but because she has so many talents. Besides acting and singing, she’s also a song-writer, producer, and television director. Her most prominent roles in TV series would be in Party of Five (1995-1999) and Ghost Whisperer (2005-2010).
2. Miley Cyrus Miley Cyrus’ career in music is on fire right now. Tours and concerts seem like filled her schedule recently. Although, she also receives so many critics and ignites controversy for her stage dresses, which are considered too provocative for her age (will be 19 in next November). Well, she’s probably Can’t Be Tamed, just like the title of he last album, but she’s a great example of someone who combines look, talent, and news, to achieve success. In television, you’d knew her from Hannah Montana, where she starred as lead role during 2006-2011.
3. Hilary Duff It seems like Disney Channel always produce young talents, which soon become a superstar. Besides Miley Cyrus, Hilary Duff is a good example. She gained her popularity when starred in Disney’s Lizzie McGuire (2001-2004). After that, Duff appeared in numerous box-office movies, and guest starring many television show. As a musician, she has released four albums and sold over 13 million records worldwide, and ranked at the 69th best selling artist of the 2000s by Billboards. Too bad that she hasn’t produced a new album since Dignity (2007). She’s more busy as a book author lately. 4. Lea Michele Lea Michele is probably the hottest TV actress/singer right now, thanks to her role as Rachel Berry in Glee. Even though, we always think that this 25-year-old woman is too sexy and mature to play a high school star. Fortunately that her beautiful voice in Glee is not a result of lip sync, as she’s an actual singer. She even already got Grammy Award before starred in Glee, from her appearance in Spring Awakening, an original Broadway cast. In 2011, she received her second Grammy for one of Glee’s performance, Don’t Stop Believin. 5. Lindsay Lohan Well, not much to tell about LiLo’s career recently, as news about her mostly about controversy, court, jail time, and rehabilitation. But she used to be such a talented young actress. By the age of 10, when Lohan played Alexandra “Alli” Fowler in the series Another World, Soap Opera Magazine said she was already considered a show-business veteran. She has two albums in her discography, Speak (2004) and A Little More Personal (2005).
If you fancy all those sexy actress with beautiful voices like we do, then you’d probably familiar with their songs. Browse their lyrics at www.fionaslyrics.com if you need any. Fiona’s Lyrics categorized all artist and songs in alphabetical orders, which is very east to browse. Random Posts |
