Norfolk State, a 15 seed, just upset 2 seed Missouri.
There have been 3 other upsets so far in the tournament...an upset defined as a higher seed beating a lower seed. Not the usual mayhem I've come to anticipate in the opening rounds.
Norfolk State is the big one. It's only the 5th time in tournament history that a 15 has beaten a 2. Many brackets will have had Missouri on a deep run, possibly all the way to the Final Four. I did based on the way they ended their season with a conference championship.
But now the Tigers are out and the Spartans advance.
